I think the range is great, however I wish you can do something with your price for ammo. Especially for the members. I am sure you have room to come down in price and still make a profit.

I can honestly tell you that the cost of ammo for ranges and resellers is through the roof. One thing to consider is the taxes we get hit with plus the cost of shipping. It is very expensive to ship ammo because of the weight. We also have the enormous problem of supply. Almost all calibers are on national back order. We try very hard to keep ammo prices down but find it increasingly harder to do. Believe me when I tell you that we will lower prices as soon as we can.

I know you guys say that you cannot use Wolf or CCI ammo. Is that all Wolf and All CCI ammo or just a certian type.

On the website we specify aluminum cased CCI ammo as being prohibited. Aluminum cased ammo is not recommended by most manufactures for use in firearms because of the amount of shavings it leaves in a gun. It can cause misfeeds and total failure of your firearm. If aluminum shavings are found by the manufacturer when failure occurs, they will not fix the gun. Brass cased CCI is perfectly fine and costs about the same. Wolf is poor quality, inconsistent and steel cased. More than the inconsistencies in their loads, is the steel casing. It makes it very dangerous for us to sweep it up. Steel causes sparks. Unburned powder and sparks don't mix well together. I hope this answers your question. Feel free to call us with any additional questions.

Aluminum cased CCI is crap. Don't feed it through your gun. My Glock failed as a result of it and Glock told me to go scratch. It's not woh the buck you save.

Aguila is perfectly fine as long as it's not aluminum or steel cased.

Hey Billy, Kenny, and the Shoreshot crew. You guys are awesome. I have never been part of a shooting range. I have went around to others and got a whole bunch of crap. You guys are great, the range is awesome, and I am very happy with the purchase of my first S&W M&P 40cal pistol from you. Tell Billy I said, "COUGH, COUGH, COUGH" He will understand I am sure he will laugh.

Take care guys, hope to be back soon.

Attended my first class with Bob last night and he was excellent. Very informative and fun. Even for a newbie like me he made it easy to understand and took the time to explain any and all questions. Excellent training course!

Looking forward to coming down this weekend. You guys run the coolest range in the state. I have been to a few others in the area and I am always made to feel like a tool when I ask something. I can say that no one at Shore Shot ever makes you feel sub human because you have a question. kudos to you and your awesome range.

Unfortunately no one can predict what will happen with the price of raw materials. We are desperately trying to keep our ammo prices reasonable and as low as possible. If we can lower prices we will. We aren't in the market of jacking prices to jump on the "firearms band wagon" like most retailers. We keep all of our prices low to ensure we maintain happy customers. If you're not happy, we're not happy.
